US Youth Soccer Championships,
Presidents Cup Kick-off

Follow our state’s top teams as they compete
at Regional tournaments this month!

After months of competition throughout the state, champions were crowned in May in both the Washington Youth Soccer State Championships and Challenge Cup. For some of the teams, these victories marked the end of a fun and challenging season — for others, their success at the State Cup level is just the beginning.

Follow our state’s top teams as they battle the region’s best for berths at July’s Presidents Cup and US Youth Soccer National Championships!

Region IV Presidents Cup
June 14-19, 2011
West Jordan, Utah

Far West Regionals
June 20-26, 2011,
Boise, Idaho

First-place teams and select wildcards in the Challenge Cup Boys and Girls Under-13 through Under-17 divisions will compete later this month at the Region IV Presidents Cup in Utah, where they will vie with champions from the other 13 Western states for seeding in July’s Presidents Cup nationals.

Likewise, the teams that took first place in the Washington Youth Soccer Championships will continue on the quest for US Youth Soccer National Championships. Champions of the Boys and Girls Under-12 through Under-19 divisions, as well as select wildcard teams, will make the short trek to Boise, Idaho, in the coming weeks for Far West Regionals. Winners of the regional tournament will represent Region IV at the US Youth Soccer Nationals in July.

Washington Youth Soccer teams had success at Regionals last summer — of the 18 Washington teams at Far West Regionals, 14 advanced to quarterfinals, five to semis, and one brought home a Regional title, earning a berth at Nationals. Also, four of the 14 Washington Youth Soccer teams at Presidents Cup Regionals advanced from group play, with two making it all the way to the finals.

Don’t miss a minute of the action at either event this month! Region IV is giving all fans the opportunity to follow the games online with scoring updates posted after each game to their website, In addition, Washington Youth Soccer’s website will feature full wrap-ups from both events, highlighting our teams’ performances with photos, scores and more.

Congratulations to each of the state champions below and the teams advancing to Far West Regionals and Region IV Presidents Cup!
