2010 World Cup Finals Match Viewing Party

The 2010 FIFA World Cup kicks off this month, and Washington Youth Soccer is at the center of the action! Join Washington Youth Soccer, the Seattle Sounders FC, the Sound Wave band, Mayor Mike McGinn and soccer fans of all ages at Seattle Center's Fisher Pavilion on July 11 for a celebration of the world's game including food, games, promotions, giveaways and — of course — the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final LIVE on a 140-square foot screen. In addition, all attendees will have the chance to sign an 80-square-foot scarf produced by Ruffneck Scarves to support the USA's bid to host the 2018 and 2022 World Cup! Sign the scarf, then see it on display on Qwest Field!

State Cup Report

State Cup competition wrapped up last weekend with the U19 semi-finals and finals at Starfire Sports Complex. But that's only the beginning for several Washington Youth Soccer teams with dreams of Regional and even National glory. Find out how you can follow all the exciting Regional action this month!

Last month saw teams from four different states and two Canadian provinces meet on the pitch at Starfire Sports Complex for the Northwest Territories Invitational, a friendly, festival-style event featuring dozens of the region's top youth players on one field!
