Attacking Play Against an Unorganized Defense

This past October, I was fortunate to be selected by US Soccer as one of 25 coaches invited to participate at the 2010 FIFA Futuro III Instructors Coaching Course, held Oct. 16-17 in Casa Grande. Conducted by FIFA and U.S. Soccer, the FIFA FUTURO III Instructors coaching course is an 11-day event geared towards the education of national instructors and the promotion of soccer across the world. Building upon the lessons learned at the FIFA FUTURO III course, in this edition of the Technical Zone, we will focus on counter-attacking play and discuss just how integral this aspect of the game has become in the modern game.
