Be a Part of the Guinness Book of World Records!
Join America SCORES, your friends and thousands of soccer players around the nation Sept. 29 in an attempt to set a world record for dribbling — and support a great cause!
Perhaps you've flipped through the Guinness Book of World Records and wondered what it might take to see your own name listed on its pages. On Sept. 29, you — and all of your family and friends — could have the chance to find out!
America SCORES Seattle — the local chapter of the national America SCORES organization, engaging underserved elementary school-aged youth in the Seattle area in soccer, creative writing and service learning — is teaming up with America SCORES programs in nine other U.S. cities to attempt to set the world record for the most people dribbling a soccer ball at one time!
The Seattle Super Soccer Dribble will take place Sat., Sept. 29 from 2-4 p.m. at Seattle University. Players from Sounders FC and the University of Washington men's soccer team are expected to contribute to the fun, as participants in all 10 cities start dribbling simultaneously under the watchful eye of Guinness Book representatives.
The current record is 2,068 dribblers, held by the United Nations — join the Sounders, the Huskies and dribblers around the country as we attempt to set a new record, held by … you!
