New App Gives Non-Profit Volunteers
the Chance to Track Hours, Win Prizes

Tracking your volunteer hours has never been simpler
— or more rewarding.

In February, Cabot Creamery and social business start-up Chalo, Inc., teamed up to develop Reward Volunteers, a free mobile app designed to help volunteers log hours and win rewards for themselves and the organizations they serve.

After downloading the app to an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or accessing it on the web (at RewardVolunteers.coop), volunteers need simply to identify the organization to which they are contributing their time, then use the app to post their hours through Facebook. Monthly prizes will be awarded to the volunteers who log the most hours, share their posts and volunteer photos, send e-mails and earn the most “Likes” for their posts.

Monthly prizes will include a Burton Snowboard, gift baskets from Cabot Cheese and Green Mountain Coffee and other goodies, while annual grand prizes will include an Alaskan cruise and up to $3,000 cash for both five volunteers and five non-profits.

For more information or to download the app, visit iTunes.com and search “Reward Volunteers.” Be sure and enter your local soccer organization and start earning rewards for you and your club!
