Join Washington Youth Soccer and Special Olympics Washington For the First-Ever TOPSoccer Competition!
The first-ever TOPSoccer Competition in the state of Washington is coming to Marysville next month — and you can be a part of it!
TOPSoccer, The Outreach Program for Soccer, is our soccer program for players four years of age and older who have cognitive and/or physical disabilities. The program enables players to participate at levels consistent with their skills, not necessarily their age.
Washington Youth Soccer has over 20 locations across the state where TOPSoccer provides players in their local community an opportunity to "Come Play On Our Team." Currently, this program serves over 500 players supported by over 300 buddies (volunteers who assist players on the field) and 100 coaches.
As part of the program's continued growth and development, Special Olympics Washington will host the first-ever TOPSoccer Competition at their NW Regional Competition in Marysville on Sunday, May 6. Teams will play five-a-side (three players and two buddies) in a minimum two games, with 15-minute halves and a five-minute halftime.
If you participate in TOPSoccer as a player or buddy and are over eight years old, join us! Registration is FREE; click the links above to sign up today!
Teams will be made by Washington Youth Soccer — so if your local program doesn't have enough players, don't worry - you will be matched with other interested players in your area to form a team and take the field on game day. Teams will be made of both TOPSoccer players and buddies over the age of eight to ensure that our players have maximum opportunity to succeed on the field.
Keeping with our philosophy, any player eight years of age or older, regardless of their ability, is invited to play — so sign up today for this first-of-its-kind event!
