Recreational Cup Wraps Up With Finals at Starfire!
Over 450 teams statewide competed in Washington Youth Soccer’s top recreational-level tournament
Three months, 450 teams, countless hours of hard work — and unlimited supplies of enthusiasm and fun.
It all came to a head at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila on Dec. 11, as months of statewide competition brought the top recreational-level teams from across the state met in the semi-finals and finals of the Recreational Cup. The Recreational Cup is Washington Youth Soccer’s only State Recreational Tournament, giving recreational-level players the chance to enjoy the passion and competition of a State Cup atmosphere, in a fun, low-stress environment.
Thank you to the hundreds of parents, club and Association volunteers, referees and other administrators who helped make this year’s event a success, and congratulations to each of these outstanding teams!
