State Cups Heating Up Winter!

While the winter weather has returned as cold and wet as always, players in Washington Youth Soccer's four annual State Cups are heating up fields throughout the state!

The action kicked off this fall in the Sports Authority Recreational Cup, with 450 of our state's top recreational teams battling statewide for rec's highest honor. From the hundreds who began the competition two months ago, just four boys and girls teams in each age group remain entering this weekend's Sports Authority Recreational Cup Semi-finals and Finals, Dec. 10-11, at Starfire Sports in Tukwila. Come out and support Washington's top rec players! For details on game times, fields and results, click here!

Of course, rec players are hardly the only ones catching the State Cup fever. As the Sports Authority Recreational Cup concludes, Founders Cup, Challenge Cup and US Youth Soccer Washington State Championships are set to kick off over the next month, meaning it's time to make sure that you're up-to-speed on this year's State Cup schedules and formats!

Here's a quick reminder about what to expect this year, with upcoming deadlines you should be aware of. Brush up on the State Cups, then support your team or club as they test their skills against the state's best!
