CHECK OUT OUR COOL NEW LOOK!
It's a daily must visit for all members of the Washington Youth Soccer family.
Many of you have likely noticed the recent changes to the Washington Youth Soccer website, wsysa.com. If you haven't, now is a great time to go and take a look!
Responding to feedback from players, parents, coaches, administrators and many of the other thousands of individuals who use the Washington Youth Soccer website on a daily basis, the State Office spent months this fall updating the website and reorganizing the information on its pages to make it easy to read and, most importantly, easy for you to find the information that you need quickly and without having to hunt through numerous pages.
Perhaps the most notable of the many changes to the website was the creation of new tabs at the top of the page, which helped put the most-read and most-asked-about information right at your fingertips. In addition to tabs for Sponsors, Events, Members, Programs and Tournaments, a Resources tab was added that includes many of the items most frequently requested by our users – risk management applications, E-Travel forms, insurance forms, Board minutes, links to E-PlayOn, PlayOn! and more.
Cup and tournament information has been consolidated under the "Tournaments" tab, while information on State-sponsored programs – including Sounders FC Youth/ODP, TOPSoccer and Soccer Across Washington – is located under "Programs."
In addition to the new tabs, a set of slides were created for the front page, allowing users to quickly flip through the top stories of the day in Washington Youth Soccer without having to scroll down. Links were also added to our Facebook and Twitter pages, giving all members of the Washington Youth Soccer family the chance to interact and stay up-to-date on the latest events and developments.
"Our goal in re-launching WSYSA.com was to be able to present useful, relevant stories in a dynamic, easy-to-read way, and to simplify the process by which parents, coaches, referees and others in the Washington Youth Soccer family can quickly and easily find the news and information that is important and pertinent to their interests," says Amy Wallsmith, Washington Youth Soccer's Marketing, Communications and Sponsorship Manager.
"The menus at the top of the page make it easy to locate specific information, while the links to Facebook, Twitter, E-PlayOn and our sponsor pages help our members connect to the organization and each other."
Please explore the new site and give us your feedback – if there is anything you think could be more easily found, or if there is something important that we have left out, contact Amy Wallsmith at email@example.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
