Capitol Hill’s First Youth Soccer Coach Has Seen It All

Few individuals can claim to have charted soccer’s growth in the state of Washington as closely as David Nordfors. The coach of the first youth soccer team on Capitol Hill, in 1968, Nordfors has seen the game grow in our area from its humble beginnings to the global force it is today, with Washington Youth Soccer among the nation’s largest youth soccer organizations, and Seattle Sounders FC taking North America by storm. EPD Players Selected for State Pools

Congratulations to the boys and girls players selected to the Washington Youth Soccer! A total of 89 boys and 56 girls in the in the Girls 1997 and 1996 groups and Boys 1997, 1996, 1995 and 1994 groups were selected from Washington Youth Soccer’s Elite Player Development (EPD) to join the Washington Youth Soccer EPD State Pool.
